My Second Week as a LIA2 Intern at DIN Travel Group

☀️ Today starts my second week as a LIA2 intern at DIN Travel Group! ☀️
My first week has been both educational and very fun. Among other things, I have had the opportunity to familiarize myself with a Google Ads Performance Max campaign and Travelize, but what I have enjoyed most is working on building a custom annual report and planning app in Zoho Creator.
Building with Zoho Creator
This is my first time working in Zoho, and I am pleasantly surprised by how much freedom Creator provides! The app combines Zoho Creator's built-in features with custom widgets and custom HTML to create a more complete dashboard flow featuring a Dashboard, Annual Overview, and Follow-up, as well as filtering by year, brand, subcategory, channel, and status.
I have also built in support for multiple years and a "Copy Year" function, where previous years' planned activities can be copied to a new year with updated dates, while the performance data is reset. This makes it faster to create next year's plan when many campaigns and activities are recurring.
It has been fun to build upon my supervisor's requests and integrate features for budget, costs, leads, lead targets, CPA, and follow-ups into the same solution.
An exciting start to my internship, lots of new things to learn and explore, and it is highly motivating to apply this directly to something that will actually be used in the business. Happy Monday!
