I Turned My Portfolio into an Arcade (And Tracked Everything)

I have a small problemโ€ฆ Iโ€™m the only one on my own leaderboards. ๐Ÿ˜…

Iโ€™ve recently added three browser-based games to my digital analytics portfolio: Bubble Pop, Crystal Guard, and Spooder Solitaire.

But these aren't just for fun, they are a playground for data tracking. ๐Ÿ“Š

The Tech Stack:

  • ๐Ÿ”น GTM & GA4: I implemented custom event tracking to capture game starts, completions, and high scores.
  • ๐Ÿ”น Looker Studio: I built a live dashboard to visualize player behavior, difficulty preferences, and win rates.
  • ๐Ÿ”น Global Leaderboards: Real-time scoring systems to track the top players.

Right now, the "Top Poppers" and "Legends" lists are full of my own test data (shoutout to "YunaTestiPhone" ๐Ÿ˜‚). I need your help to fix that!

Please give them a try and beat me at my own game!

Screenshots of the sad state my leaderboards are in currently:

A pixel-art style interface for the tower defense game 'Crystal Guard.' A central 'System Failure' window indicates the game has ended, displaying a 'Legends' high score list with 'Yuna' in first place. The right-hand menu shows tower summoning options like Archer, Mage, and Blaster in a neon-purple color scheme.

A pastel-colored 'Game Over' screen for the browser game Bubble Pop. The background features pink clouds and floating bubbles. A central 'Top Poppers' leaderboard lists high scores, currently dominated by test accounts like 'YunaTestPhone' and 'YunaTestFirefox.' A side panel shows game stats and a 'Restart' button.

A cozy, aesthetic Spider Solitaire interface set in a Victorian-style room. A 'Wall of Fame' leaderboard overlay is open, displaying rankings for the '1 Suit' difficulty mode. The top score is held by 'YunaTestiPhone.' Solitaire card stacks are visible in the background.
The "Wall of Fame" in Spooder Solitaire. This leaderboard tracks wins across 1-Suit, 2-Suit, and 4-Suit difficulties.
A Looker Studio analytics dashboard displaying live data for the portfolio games. Top scorecards show 'Total Games Started' (136) and 'Total Completions' (78). Below, a bar chart visualizes 'Game Popularity,' a pie chart shows 'Spooder Solitaire Difficulty Selection,' and a table breaks down completion rates by game.
